this is my girlfriend Nessa. she's an older woman. and she's smokin' hot. her and her daddy came to visit me and daddy while mama was out of town for work. we played in the yard, had dinner, and talked about our parents. i wanted to kiss her but i heard you have to wait till the third date. so i'll be patient - she's worth it!

ladies night
the Golden Pit
egg face
so here's another strange thing about easter. you're supposed to color the eggs - eggs that the bunny steals from chickens - so that the bunny can then hide them for you to find. i had lots of fun coloring the eggs, especially when i "accidentally" broke one and had to eat it. so i guess it's all good.
Easter
the star of this show is the Easter Bunny. the bunny (gender unknown) hides eggs - but eggs come from chickens - for little kids to find. and then you eat ham and lamb for dinner. am i the only one thouroughly confused here? maybe this holiday celebrates farm animals. if that's the case, i'm all about it. especially the chickens that lay eggs with candy inside! we should get some of them for the back yard. daddy was helping me find eggs around the house
shake your money maker
next time mama is going to take a picture i'd ask that she give me some warning so i can suck in my gut. but really you should be focusing on the maracca in my hand. daddy brought it all the way from mexico for me. and i shook it SO hard that it broke and all the maraccas fell out. by the time daddy fixed it i had moved on to a different toy. but it was fun while it lasted
pickin' and grinnin'
dude! did you know you can stick your finger alllll the way up your nose? on BOTH sides!?! it's way cool. and if you get anything, you can wipe it on the shirt of the person next to you. good times. especially when their shirt is black.
in this picture i'm wearing a shirt that nana and papa got for me when they went to austin for a visit. it says, "HELP! Mommy's Having a Bad Day! Call 1-800-Grandma". that's not really nana's number - i tried calling it and no one answered. guess i'm stuck with a cranky mama

packin' up
we moved to the new house on mama and daddy's third year anniversary. it was VERY romantic - they got to spend the entire day with close friends and family and lots of boxes. everyone was very busy hauling and cleaning and got the job done fast. i got to hang out with auntie julie, alex and my girlfriend nessa. but before all the fun, i helped out by cleaning out the cupboards!

mexico
mama and daddy went to mexico and left me back in colorado. they played with friends in puerta de aventuras and attended my cousin sara's wedding in cancun. i played with auntie julie, uncle justin, papa and nana the first part of the week, and then grandma and grandpa P came alllllll the way from wisconsin to play with me. tia was visiting too so we had LOTS of fun all of us together. as far as i'm concerned, mama and daddy can go on vacation anytime. i'll be JUST fine!
the tile team
daddy asked scott and dan to help with the kitchen tile because mama wanted travertine (unhoned and unfilled) in a versailles pattern. i don't really know what all that means, but i DO know that the tile team spent a lot of time 'discussing' how to do it. and there was a lot of tile - 400 square feet! papa kept telling daddy that he should pay someone to do it because he didn't think they'd get it done. he was there supervising. but you should see it now - it's really pretty. and fun to push my truck across.
Papa
Papa did a LOT of work on the new house. he came all the way across town several days a week to work hard so we could move in and be comfortable. in this picture, he's standing on the deck that mike and kevin built off mama and daddy's bedroom. they said it's a place for them to "get away". but i don't understand why they'd ever want to get away! at least not without me. mike and kevin put that patio door in too. and daddy is going to get mama a sauna to put back there. maybe some railing too - so i don't fall off.
who cut the...... tile (you thought i was going to say cheese, didn't you?)

Ole Bones
this is my buddy kevin. he's a lot older than me but i have more hair than him! he came to visit and build some stuff at the new house for mama and daddy. he has two kids - Kadin and Kaylee - and a really pretty wife Karin (she's auntie jeanie's sister). i'm hoping that someday soon i'll get to hang out with all of them again, now that i can run and keep up.

trucks
i just LOVE trucks. daddy let me open one present on christmas eve and after that i really didn't care if i got to open any more. trucks are so much fun to push around the room. at daycare i'd rather push trucks than listen to books or sing songs or eat snacks. this truck is made from recycled materials right here in the USA. i guess my daddy is more of a tree hugger than he likes to let on
Christmas
i'm pretty sure that ALL of these presents are for me. or at least a couple of the big ones. this was the first christmas i really remember (last year i was just a little blob that slept a lot) and it was a really good one. bows are cool - wrapping paper too. big boxes are fun to crawl inside of. and ornaments on the tree? i'm sure you can just imagine......
TKO
this is what happens when you take on a professional boxer that's four times your size! actually, this is what happens when you have surgery on a little bump on your eyebrow bone. they totally knocked me out, i was a little black and blue for a few days, and now i have a really cool scar. mama and daddy say it should go away but kinda hope it doesn't - i bet the chicks will dig it
